Mazda3 2024 debuts with enhanced fuel efficiency and new safety features

The Mazda3 2024 has been launched in the Japanese market with enhanced fuel efficiency and a larger infotainment screen.

The Mazda3 2024 has received some minor tweaks to help it regain its position as the leader in the C-segment.

In the 2024 version, the changes to the Mazda3 are mainly found in the Dimming Turn Signal, which was first introduced on the Mazda CX-30. Therefore, there are not many updates to the award-winning design. Additionally, the car has a new exterior color, Ceramic Metallic, replacing Sonic Silver.

The major changes can be found under the hood, where the Mazda3 has cylinder deactivation among other changes to further improve the fuel efficiency of the Skyactiv-G engine.

The interior of the Mazda3 2024 features stitching on the dashboard, door panels, center armrest, and knee pads. Technology features have also been added, such as the larger 10.25-inch Mazda Connect infotainment screen. This feature provides touch screen capability but only when connected to Apple CarPlay or Android. In addition, the Type-A charging port has now been replaced with Type-C, and a wireless charging tray is now added to the front cup holder.

Mazda has also improved the safety system of the car by adding the Distracted Driving Alert feature, which can detect when the driver is distracted and activate an audible alert as well as a warning message on the screen. Furthermore, the Mazda3 can also detect obstacles in front, including pedestrians.
