2023 Mazda3 launched: More powerful, more fuel-efficient

The Japanese automaker has launched the updated 2023 Mazda3 with some performance upgrades in the US market.

First updated under the bonnet, the naturally aspirated 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G engine is capable of producing 191 hp and 252 Nm of torque, an increase of 5 hp over the model. predecessor car.

According to the manufacturer, the 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G engine is equipped with updated cylinder deactivation technology to be “more efficient under specific operating conditions”.

The Mazda3 2.5 S Carbon Edition will be offered with all-wheel drive. It has a Polymetal Gray exterior with black 18-inch alloy wheels and gloss black mirror caps. Other highlights include red leather seats and a 12-speaker Bose premium sound system.

2023 Mazda3 2.5 S Premium version has also been improved with standard 6-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system. Front-wheel drive and 6-speed manual transmission are still available on the 2023 Mazda3 2.5 S Premium Hatchback.

Meanwhile, the Mazda3 2.5 Turbo is only available as a Hatchback. The car uses a Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo engine with a capacity of up to 250 horsepower and 433 Nm of torque on high-grade fuel.

The 2023 Mazda3 Hatchback will go on sale in the US market this fall, while the Mazda3 Sedan will go on sale in the winter.
