Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4MATIC – Supercars for the track

Although not equipped with a hybrid engine, the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4MATIC+ still has the same power as the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance.

More impressively, the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4MATIC+ does not need the help of an E Performance electric motor but is still capable of operating as well.

The exterior of the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4MATIC+ is quite similar to the AMG GT 63, but the car has been refined, the front bumper air intake with tilted spokes.

The AIRPANEL system and active aerodynamic undercarriage combined with the same wind navigation blades as the AMG One increase the pressure on the road surface at the front axle by 30 kg.

The car is equipped with 21-inch AMG Performance multi-spoke wheels painted in exclusive Himalaya Grey matte gray. Included are Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tyres or optional Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R Cup tyres.

In addition, high-performance carbon-composite AMG brake discs are standard equipment on this version with a diameter of 420 mm at the front axle, the largest ever produced by AMG. The back of the brake discs is made of ultra-light titanium similar to racing models.

The car is equipped with a fixed aerodynamic spoiler. Combined with the refined, undercarriage, this mechanism helps to increase the pressure on the road surface at the rear axle by 15 kg.

The AMG carbon fiber exterior trim package is standard equipment, including details at the front bumper, step platform panels, rear air diffuser, fixed spoiler…

Because it is not equipped with a hybrid engine, the GT 63 logo of the car still retains the usual chrome/black color scheme, but with the addition of the checkered flag that was used on the previous generation AMG GT R Pro.

The interior layout of the AMG GT 63 Pro 4MATIC+ is not much different from other AMG GT models, including a 12.3-inch digital dashboard and an 11.9-inch touchscreen center screen.

Still using the 2+2 configuration, the car is equipped with AMG Performance sports seats as standard with additional high-resting hip rests, a sports steering wheel upholstered in Nappa leather and Microcut microfibers.

The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro 4MATIC+ is still powered by a 4.0L Biturbo V8 engine with 612 hp and 850 Nm of torque, which is 27 hp and 50 Nm more powerful than the AMG GT 63.

Accompanied by an AMG Speedshift MCT 9G 9-speed gearbox and an AMG Performance 4MATIC+ full-time all-wheel drive system. Despite not having the assistance of a hybrid engine, this model still has the same power as the AMG GT 63 S E Performance.

Thanks to the new upgrade, the AMG GT 63 Pro 4MATIC+ is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds before reaching a top speed of 317 km/h.

In addition, the AMG GT 63 Pro 4MATIC+ still has familiar features such as rear-wheel steering, AMG Active Ride Control suspension, new cooling system…

The price of the AMG GT 63 Pro 4MATIC+ has not been announced. In Germany, the Mercedes-AMG GT 43, GT 55 4MATIC+, GT 63 4MATIC+ and GT 63 S E Performance are priced at $129,000, $182,000, $206,000 and $237,000, respectively.
